2026 Kia Seltos launch live updates: New petrol hybrid?
One of the major upgrades expected for the new Seltos is the introduction of a full strong-hybrid setup. The system is likely to combine a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver a substantial boost in fuel efficiency. With this move, Kia will put the Seltos squarely in the crosshairs of hybrid-focused rivals like the Toyota Fortuner and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. In line with the current generation, the India-bound version is still expected to remain a front-wheel-drive model.
