Mahindra has expanded its electric SUV lineup with the launch of the BE6 Formula E Edition, which is priced at Rs 23.69 lakh, ex-showroom. The special-edition model brings a motorsport-inspired identity to the BE6, complete with fresh styling touches, upgraded features and some special experiences for early buyers. It will be offered in two variants, FE2 and FE3, which are priced at Rs 23.69 lakh and Rs 24.49 lakh respectively. Customers will be able to personalize their SUV from December 14, while bookings will officially open on January 14, 2026. Deliveries will begin a month later, on February 14. Mahindra BE6 Formula E Edition : What’s new
The Formula E version features race-themed graphics on the doors, fenders and bonnet. Mahindra has reworked the front and rear bumpers, installed circular LED projector headlamps and added an aero wing and integrated spoiler on the boot lid to improve airflow. The rear now has an LED lightbar while the sides get a refreshed design for the wheels. Color options include Firestorm Orange, Tango Red, Everest White and Stealth Black.
Inside, the dashboard and door trims feature a carbon-fibre finish with Formula E branding and a celebratory plaque on the center console. The cabin gets a twin 12.3-inch screen, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice commands and OTA updates. Other key features include a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio setup, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats with 6-way power adjustment, wireless charging, auto-dimming IRVM, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, 65W Type-C fast charger, rear AC vents and laminated doors and more.
Mechanically, the Formula E version continues with the standard BE6’s 79 kWh battery pack, providing a claimed range of 682 km.Additionally, Mahindra is offering several benefits for the first Rs999 customers. These include a track day at the Mahindra Proving Track in Chennai, a collector’s box filled with Mahindra racing memorabilia, a special number decal from 0-99 and even the buyer’s name engraved on the brand’s Formula E race car for the London E-Prix and inside the racing team’s headquarters. Children of BE6 owners will also get a mini replica of the EV. Three lucky customers will win an all-expenses-paid paddock entry to the London E-Prix in August 2026 and a meet and greet with the Mahindra Racing team.
